The variety «Spohady» is a product of breeding work to develop original Ukrainian cultivars. The plant was created with consideration for adaptation to the climatic conditions of the moderately continental zone.

In scientific publications describing rose genetic collections, the variety is mentioned as part of the botanical garden's breeding stock. Detailed morphological characteristics and agrotechnical indices of the variety are absent in open sources.
