The variety is a dense, rounded shrub 90–120 cm high and 60–90 cm wide. The foliage is glossy, dark green, and resistant to common rose diseases.
Flowering is abundant and recurrent, continuing from late spring to autumn. The flowers are cup-shaped, cherry-red, with a light sweet fragrance. The plant has a sturdy growth habit and does not require special support.
The variety is adapted for USDA hardiness zones 5–9.
