The Tanessenor variety is the official breeder code for the rose known in horticulture under the trade name Baronesse. The rose was developed by the German nursery Rosen Tantau.

The plant belongs to the floribunda group, the representatives of which are intended for planting in groups, in flower beds, and in mixed flower borders.
