The Rosa Vulcano variety bred by Kordes (2019) is a compact plant about 70 cm tall, belonging to the floribunda group. It is distinguished by cherry-red flowers with a yellow reverse of the petals.

The Rosa Volcan variety bred by Bergmann (2005) is classified as a multiflora hybrid (rambler). The flowers of this variety range in color from soft pink to creamy white.
