The variety belongs to the group of Rosa rugosa hybrids. The plant forms a spreading shrub 50–70 cm high and 100–120 cm wide. The foliage is small, wrinkled, dark green, and slightly glossy.

The flowers are violet, cup-shaped, 5–6.5 cm in diameter, double, with 26–35 petals. The flowers are gathered in inflorescences of 3–10 pieces and have a pronounced fragrance. The variety is repeat-flowering, blooming from June until autumn, and sets decorative fruits.

The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zone 3, and high resistance to powdery mildew and black spot. The buds open easily, and the petals fall off immediately after flowering ends.
