The variety Linda is an interspecific hybrid derived from crossing Rubus arcticus subsp. arcticus and Rubus arcticus subsp. stellatus. The plant is low-growing, reaching 20–25 cm in height, and spreads actively via underground stolons, forming a dense cover.
Flowering of the variety occurs in May–June, with berries ripening among the first of such hybrids. They possess an intense aroma and dark color; however, the variety is characterized by self-sterility, therefore, the presence of pollinator varieties such as Anna or Beata is necessary for yield.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -40°C, and resistance to diseases and pests. The yield of the variety varies from moderate to relatively low, which determines its purpose as a delicacy crop for private gardens, intended for fresh consumption or processing.
