The perennial subshrub reaches a height of 15–20 cm, flower stalks grow up to 12–18 cm. The plant forms underground stolons, has dense trifoliate leaves of a rich green color and bright purple or pink flowers.
The variety is early-ripening, fruits weighing 1.2–1.5 g ripen in July-August. Upon full ripening, the berries acquire a dark red color and are distinguished by a pronounced aroma and bittersweet taste. The plant has high frost resistance and is rarely affected by diseases.
To obtain a yield, the variety requires mandatory cross-pollination, as it is self-infertile. Planting must be supplemented with other pollinator varieties.
