The variety was obtained in 1994 as a result of crossing the parent forms Gloria and N257.1. The plant is primocane-fruiting and produces a yield on primocanes, which are shoots of the current year.

The fruits possess a sweet taste and high firmness, which determines their use for commercial fresh market sales.
