Variety description

The variety was obtained as a result of a controlled cross between the female parent Cardinal and the breeding selection W776.1. The plant is characterized by early bud break, canes have a semi-erect or erect growth habit, and long spines are present on the current season's canes.

The fruits of the variety are medium-sized and turn shades from medium-red to dark-red upon ripening. The variety is capable of yielding both in summer and autumn, and has undergone testing for stability and uniformity of characteristics through vegetative propagation.
