ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The fruits of the variety have an elongated shape. One of the key morphological features is a high fruit retention force on the receptacle even at the stage of full maturity, which hinders the harvesting process. The plant is characterized by the presence of prickles and thorns on the shoots.
The variety is used as an object in scientific research dedicated to fruit physiology and their ripening processes. In agronomic trials, the variety was noted as susceptible to viral diseases, although external symptoms of infection do not always appear.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
