The variety is the result of a controlled cross between varieties PS-1616 and PS-1703. Fruiting occurs on primocanes. The berries have a conical shape and a uniform medium-red color.
The plant has medium-green foliage, predominantly 3-foliate, with moderate to strong rugosity. On primocanes, the wax bloom is absent or very weak, with moderate to dense spination and weak to medium anthocyanin coloration.
