ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to once-fruiting summer varieties with a mid-season maturity in July. The plants are vigorous, reaching a height of 1.5–2 meters, with upright red-brown canes characterized by medium thorniness and a tendency for the tips to droop. The fruits are round or conical in shape, characterized by firmness, sweet taste, and easy detachment from the receptacle during harvest.
The plant is resistant to Phytophthora root rot of raspberry, aphid infestation, and a number of other viral infections and cane diseases. Due to the active accumulation of vegetative mass, the variety requires the installation of supports. Cultivation requires fertile, humus-rich, and permeable soils without stagnant moisture.
