The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the Bristol variety. The bush is vigorous, reaching a height of up to 3 meters, and has a wide, spreading habit with arching shoots. The plant forms thick, densely spined shoots and does not produce root suckers.

The fruits are of medium size, about 1.6 g, spherical, black in color with pubescence. They are firm, easily separate from the receptacle, and contain about 12.5% Brix at an acidity of 1.3%. The variety fruits on two-year-old canes and requires the installation of trellises and tying.

The variety is susceptible to anthracnose and raspberry bushy dwarf virus. Recommended for industrial production, including mechanized harvesting, and various types of processing, as the fruits retain their shape well after thawing.
