Variety description

The variety is remontant and intended for harvesting on both annual and biennial shoots. The bush is upright and compact, reaching a height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters. The shoots are strong and have thorns, which may shed after the berries ripen.

The berries are black with a glossy sheen, elongated-round, and possess a sweet taste with a slight acidity. The average fruit weight is 9–11 g, with individual specimens capable of reaching 14.5 g. The variety has a late maturity period, beginning to fruit in August.

The plant possesses high resistance to common blackberry diseases and an upright growth habit, not prone to lodging. Winter hardiness is estimated down to -18°C, therefore in cold regions cultivation as an annual crop with full mowing of the above-ground part in autumn is recommended.
