The plant is characterized by medium or large dimensions with a large bush diameter. The leaves have a semi-erect posture, a shape ranging from oval to medium-lanceolate, and medium or large length and width. Leaf color varies from medium to dark green.
The variety is an early vegetable crop that begins vegetation in early spring. Young leaves are used for food in soups, purees, and salads. The plant possesses winter hardiness and, due to a developed root system, exhibits relative drought tolerance, but does not tolerate excessive moisture well.
