The Chantaiana variety belongs to the group of indoor violets. In terms of growth type, it is a semi-miniature bush Saintpaulia, the rosette size of which can reach the small standard category depending on growing conditions.

The plant is characterized by abundant flowering. The flowers, 1.5–2 cm in size, resemble porcelain roses and form clusters.
