The variety RS-Gertsoginya is a standard rosette with medium-green quilted foliage. The flowers are large, semi-double or double, star-shaped with wavy edges, colored purple-red or burgundy-red with a wide white border. The plant is characterized by abundant flowering and a tendency for the center of the rosette to thicken.

The variety Pink Duchess is a standard with large double dark pink stars having a wide light pink, almost white, border. The name Duchess is also found in other plants, for example, in the Parma violet, which belongs to the Violaceae family.
