Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Salvia splendens x hybrid, known in professional horticulture under the trade name Salvia Go-Go Purple. The plant has an upright habit, reaching a height of 100 cm with a bush width of up to 50 cm.
It is characterized by large purple spike-shaped inflorescences. Flowering continues from June to September. The variety is half-hardy, drought-tolerant, prefers sunny locations or partial shade and well-drained soil, and does not tolerate waterlogging well.
