Variety description

The plant is an upright, densely branched subshrub with an average height of 60 cm (range 50–100 cm). Leaves are small, oval or elliptical in shape, dark green, semi-evergreen, and possess a natural aroma. Flowers of a saturated velvety violet color with a bluish shade in the center are gathered in upright inflorescences.
The variety is remontant and blooms until the first frosts. Winter hardiness is moderate; it withstands temperature drops down to -10…-15 °C (USDA zone 7b). Requires well-drained soils and does not tolerate waterlogging. It is used in borders, rock gardens, and container gardening as an ornamental and honey plant.
