The variety DVITAL22, known under the trade name Talya™ Great Yellow, belongs to the decorative plants commercially grouped under the name Sanvitalia speciosa. Botanically, this variety is not a pure species of Sanvitalia procumbens and is closer in its characteristics to the genus Melampodium.
The plant is intended for use as a ground cover and for container landscaping. The main distinctive features of the variety are its large inflorescences and stable development under conditions of high temperatures and active solar illumination.
