The variety possesses vigorous growth and forms an open bush type. Unlike more compact forms of Sanvitalia, «Tequilla» is distinguished by a more spreading form.

Due to the characteristics of its habit, the plant is well-suited for use in hanging baskets and mixed container compositions, where it successfully combines with other crops.
