Variety description

The variety is a compact, densely branched shrub with upright shoots and dark green glossy leaves, which are larger than those of many other representatives of the species. The plant height varies from 0.3 to 1 meter depending on cultivation conditions.
Flowering occurs in the winter-spring period from February to April. Small creamy-white flowers with a strong sweet fragrance develop from dark red buds. After flowering, inedible decorative berries are formed, changing color from red to black upon ripening.
The plant possesses high adaptability, drought tolerance after rooting, and resistance to calcareous soils. The variety is capable of growing both in shade and in the sun, and has winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zones 6-7. The shrub is resistant to common diseases and pests.
