Variety description

The plant has yellow-green pitchers, on which dark red or burgundy veins appear as they mature. Young specimens about 10 cm in height are available for sale, while mature plants grow to 40–80 cm.
The variety is winter-hardy, although young specimens in containers require careful handling. The plant is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, winter gardens, and as a bog or marginal plant for ponds.
