The plant forms a dense compact rosette of grey-green leaves. At maturity, it reaches a height of about 30 cm. The inflorescences have the needle-cushion shape characteristic of scabious and are colored in pale yellow or cream shades.
The variety has a prolonged flowering period, spanning from spring to autumn, with a peak in June-August. The plant prefers sunny locations, well-drained soils, is capable of growing in poor soils, and possesses drought tolerance. Suitable for cultivation in containers, borders, and rock gardens; it attracts pollinators.
