The Thor Louise variety belongs to a group of hybrids with intermediate characteristics between Schlumbergera truncata and Schlumbergera buckleyi. The plant has a compact form and sturdy stems prone to active branching, which allows for the formation of bushy specimens.

The flowers of the variety have a lavender color. The flowering period occurs at the end of November, which corresponds to the plant's photoperiodic response.
