The variety belongs to the genus Schlumbergera of the Cactaceae family. Flowering is characterized by pure white flowers with a pink pistil, although the shade may vary depending on the ambient temperature. Externally, the plant is a medium-sized bush with an upright growth type, the segments of which have sharp, forward-pointing teeth.
In cultivation, the variety requires maintaining a minimum winter temperature of about 18 degrees Celsius. Hybrids of the series may show susceptibility to fungal diseases. Erroneous spelling of the name as "Salvator Brazil" is found in literature.
