The Słowiańskie variety belongs to the group of population varieties of winter rye. It is characterized by resistance to a number of fungal diseases of the stem and leaves, which allows it to be used in integrated plant protection programs.
During studies of the grain of this variety, a thousand kernel weight of about 33.3 g was recorded. The variety is also an object of scientific work dedicated to the study of embryogenesis and the expression of genes responsible for plant development.
