The variety is classified as very early, possesses high resistance to low temperatures and typical rye diseases. The plants have a high tillering capacity and are characterized by long, wide leaves. The stem height during flowering can reach 2 meters. The variety is susceptible to lodging, therefore excessive nitrogen fertilization is not recommended.
The grain is large, dark green in color, and suitable for forage purposes and flour production. Grain yield is 3.0–3.5 t/ha, green mass yield is 10.0–22.0 t/ha. The primary purpose is use as a cover crop and green manure in sustainable agroecosystems.
