The variety is a compact succulent forming dense rosettes, typical for the species Sempervivum arachnoideum. The leaves are covered with characteristic pubescence resembling a spiderweb.

The plant possesses high resistance to diseases, in particular to root rot, and good winter hardiness. The variety is distinguished by rapid growth and intense coloration, intended for use in alpine gardens, rock gardens, and container landscaping.
