The plant is a breeding form of the species Senecio haworthii, also known as Caputia tomentosa. It forms compact shoots 15–30 cm tall. The leaves have a "finger-like" shape and a dense layer of trichomes, creating a frost effect. Flowering is accompanied by the appearance of flower stalks with small yellow flowers.
The variety is an evergreen succulent, sensitive to excessive moisture and requiring good ventilation. In the absence of sufficient light or with excessive fertilization, the plant is prone to stretching and losing its decorative white pubescence. The plant is not frost-resistant and is toxic if ingested.
