The variety is a tall perennial plant, the stem height of which reaches 2.5–4 meters. Plantation operation is possible for 20 years; flowering lasts from mid-summer to autumn. The plant is used as an energy, honey, fodder, fiber, and ornamental crop, as well as for land reclamation.

The biomass of the variety is characterized by a high content of cellulose, resins, and waxes, while the stems become lignified by the end of the growing season. Due to the weak natural germination of seeds, propagation is often carried out vegetatively using root cuttings.
