The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant with upright stems reaching a height of 1–4 meters. The plant is capable of growing in one location for up to 20 years; flowering lasts from July until autumn. The crop is undemanding but prefers moist and fertile soils; stems become lignified by the end of the growing season.
The primary purpose of the variety is energy production; it is also considered for use as a honey, fodder, and fiber crop, as well as for land phytoremediation. Propagation is possible via vegetative methods or seeds, with the seed method preferred for commercial sowing.
The plant has a high cellulose content and a favorable composition of resins and waxes in the stems. The variety is resistant to environmental conditions and, as a rule, does not require staking during the cultivation process.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
