The Anchor-T rootstock is used in vegetable growing to increase the vigor of grafted plants and improve their absorption of water and nutrients. It is not intended for fruit production; therefore, its own morphological characteristics are not described in agronomic literature.

The use of this rootstock allows for the control of the spread of bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum, as well as infestation by root-knot nematodes. It ensures high survival rates for grafted tomato cultivars in protected and open field conditions.
