The Shirley F1 hybrid is an early indeterminate tomato for glass greenhouses with an open habit and short internodes. It produces medium-sized, classic round red fruits. It possesses high resistance to tomato mosaic virus, Cladosporium fulvum, and Fusarium wilt.

The Shirley S (Shirley Spooner) variety is a tall indeterminate tomato with potato-type leaves. The fruits are oblate, dark pink, large, weighing 300–600 g. The Shirley Heart-shaped variety is a mid-season tall plant for greenhouses with heart-shaped fruits weighing 200–300 g.
