The Euromech variety is a selection from the VF-134 line, developed under the University of California program. It has been adapted for cultivation in Mediterranean conditions and is oriented toward the needs of industrial production.

The fruits of the variety have a round shape and red color. It is characterized by high resistance to cracking, intense flesh color and increased viscosity, which makes it suitable for mechanical harvesting and industrial processing.
