The Prekos F1 hybrid is an early-ripening variety of Bulgarian breeding. The plant is characterized by a semi-determinate growth type; it is standard practice to prune it to a single stem with 3–5 fruit clusters. The variety is suitable for professional and amateur vegetable growing, including cultivation in greenhouses and early sowings in open field.

The fruits are bright red, firm and fleshy, with an average weight of 160–200 g. Upon ripening, the characteristic green ring at the peduncle disappears, signaling readiness for harvest. The produce possesses good keeping quality, transportability and flavor characteristics.

The hybrid shows resistance to Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt, as well as to tomato mosaic virus. The variety is capable of providing good fruit set even when exposed to high summer temperatures.
