The amateur variety «Сумо» is an indeterminate plant with a height of 1.7–1.9 m for greenhouses. The fruits have an oblate ribbed shape, the weight is 500–800 g, sometimes up to 1 kg. The color of mature fruits is red or pink-red, the fruit type is beefsteak.

The tomato «Sumo» bred by Technisem is a determinate variety for open field. Its fruits weigh 180–200 g, have an oblate shape with slight ribbing and green shoulders. The plant possesses resistance to Fusarium, Stemphylium and bacterial wilt.
