The variety is an heirloom, originating from the Taninges region in France. Plants are characterized by vigorous growth, reaching 2 meters or more, and are well suited for cultivation in open field and greenhouses. Formation of the bush into 2–3 stems is recommended.

Fruits with a diameter of 5–8 cm have dense, meaty flesh with a small number of seeds. The texture is characterized as creamy and melting, the taste is mild and sweet. The variety shows good resistance to diseases and is valued as a salad-type tomato.
