The variety is an old one and has been cultivated in the Slovenian Vipava Valley for over 90 years. The plant is of the indeterminate type and requires mandatory support. It is cultivated both in the open field and in plastic greenhouses, and the leaves are dark green in color.

The fruits are large, weighing 135–200 g, with a round, slightly flattened and ribbed shape. The flesh is fleshy and juicy, the skin is smooth, and the flavor is characterized by a high sugar content. The fruits have good keeping quality.

The variety has resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt, leaf mold, as well as partial resistance to nematodes.
