The Bobryts`kyi variety is mentioned in a number of scientific publications devoted to agrotechnologies and biotechnologies. The studies evaluated the response of this variety to phytopathogens, in particular to late blight and Alternaria blight.

The variety was used in experiments to study the influence of growth regulators on plant productivity, as well as in work on in vitro tissue culture. Detailed morphological characteristics of the variety, such as maturity group or plant height, are not described in available publications.
