The plant is vigorous and open, reaching a height of over 2 meters. The fruits have a regular round shape with a diameter of 57–67 mm and are distinguished by high marketability. The hybrid possesses good fruit-setting ability.
Bocati F1 is characterized by high resistance to tomato mosaic virus, Cladosporium fulvum, Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, and Fusarium crown and root rot. Moderate resistance to powdery mildew has also been noted. An organic seed version of this hybrid exists.
