Plant of determinate type, medium size. Fruits are square-round in shape, medium-sized, have a uniform green color when immature, and possess good color upon ripening. The fruit has a joint with the peduncle.
The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt (race 1), Fusarium wilt (races 1 and 2), nematodes, Alternaria stem canker, Stemphylium leaf spot, and bacterial spot. The variety is similar in type to the Rio Grande variety.
