Covadonga F1 is an indeterminate hybrid with medium growth vigor and an open leaf canopy type. The fruits have a spherical shape with narrow shoulders and slight ribbing, retaining greenish shoulders at technical maturity.

The plant produces multi-locular fruits of medium consistency weighing 400–450 g. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and open field; in open field conditions, mandatory staking of plants to supports is required.
