Crown Jewel tomato is a main-season hybrid with a medium-sized determinate growth habit. The fruit shape ranges from deep-oblate to round, fruit shoulders are uniformly colored, and pedicels are jointed.
The hybrid possesses complex resistance to a number of diseases, including Verticillium wilt race 1, Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2, gray leaf spot, Alternaria stem canker, as well as Fusarium crown and root rot.
