The variety is traditional to the island of Fuerteventura and was restored thanks to local farmers who had preserved seeds since the 1960s. The fruits are of the salad type, have an average weight of about 220 grams, and are distinguished by a sweet taste and softer skin than commercial varieties.
The plant has good keeping quality, retaining marketability for more than two weeks after harvest. The variety shows resistance to the tomato leaf curl virus and is adapted to the specific climatic conditions of the island.
