Eva Purple Ball is a historical variety originating from the Black Forest region in Germany in the late 19th century. In the USA, the variety gained wide popularity thanks to the Bratka family.

The plant is indeterminate and is characterized by a mid-early maturity. The fruits are round in shape, weigh from 140 to 250 g, have a pink-purple color, and are resistant to cracking.
