The historical Burpee Globemaster variety was an early-maturing F1 hybrid with sturdy stems that protected the fruit from sunscald. The variety was characterized by high fruit resistance to cracking, a long fruiting period, and adaptation to the northern regions of the USA. Currently, there is no information on its widespread distribution.

Modern seed offerings under this name describe indeterminate plants up to 1.5 meters in height. The fruits of such tomatoes are characterized as red, oblate, weighing up to 1 kg, with stated heat and drought tolerance. Reliable data on the origin of these seeds and their affiliation with official breeding programs are absent.
