The period from emergence to the beginning of fruiting is 110–120 days. The plant is tall, reaching a height of 1.5 to 3 meters. The variety is characterized as relatively resistant to late blight and a number of other fungal and viral diseases.

The fruits have a weight of 50–80 g to 200 g and are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, pickling, juice preparation, drying, and sun-drying. They possess good keeping quality.

The plant requires mandatory tying to a support or trellis and side-shooting (pinching), and formation into 1–2 stems is recommended. In regions with short summers, cultivation in protected ground is preferred.
