Kivu RZ F1 is an indeterminate plant of the generative type with an open habit. The fruits have a round, slightly ribbed shape and are characterized by high firmness, marketability, and resistance to cracking.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to tomato mosaic virus, leaf mold, Fusarium wilt, Fusarium crown and root rot, and Verticillium wilt, as well as intermediate resistance to powdery mildew. The variety is intended for use in protected cultivation and is classified as a slicing tomato.
