The variety «Этуаль» (Etoile) is a representative of amateur breeding, presumably of French or Swiss origin. The plant is of the indeterminate type with a height of 150 to 200 cm. The fruit ripening period is about 105–115 days.
The fruits have a characteristic elongated, ribbed shape, resembling a pear-like barrel. The color of mature fruits is most often described as red or raspberry. The tomatoes are distinguished by their fleshiness and are suitable for salads, drying, and stuffing.
